Come to our upcoming concert! - American Fork Symphony

Guys! We have a concert coming up and it's going to be a good one! Grab your family, date, or FHE group and listen to some beautiful classical music. Our program includes: Water Musick, Crown Imperial, English Folk Songs Suite, Mars (from the Planets-aka awesome!!), and some other great ones :) I would love to see you there! Valentine's Day, 2013 Style

Can I just say that Valentine's day is one of the best holidays?? Seriously, what can beat a whole day set aside aside to show your love to others? Plus, everyone on campus was wearing pink..bonus! Kyle was super adorable as usual and hid love notes all around our apartment. Despite the awesome detective that I am, I've only found 18 of them so far. We celebrated with Martinelli's and watched some of our favorite TV shows. It was nice to just hang out and relax. Anyway, these two pictures are my crafts from this week :)

Utah Portrait Photographer? Someday.

What makes a person that likes to take photos a photographer? Maybe the title comes with confidence, maybe it comes with naivety. I love taking photos, but don't want to be that Utah girl who gets a fancy camera and then proclaims she's instantly a photographer. There's an art to photography - to using your camera, to creating good composition, to balancing light and color - that takes time to develop. My goal is to continue learning so that someday I can have my own business, but for now, photography is my hobby. My family is so supportive and has given me a lot of opportunities to get out and practice. Here are some of my favorite photos from the past couple months:
